2nd Annual Scholar Achievement Awards - Thursday, April 4, 2013. The purpose of the SAA is to bring scholars from the six host high schools, families and Crossroads stakeholders together as a community in order to recognize, encourage and reinforce excellence and high achievement among Crossroads scholars. Crossroads will recognize scholars who are excelling academically and culturally, demonstrating commitment to community service, and exhibiting the character attributes of a Crossroads scholar.  In doing so, we recognize not only academic achievement but effort, persistence, resilience, kindness, dedication, courage, leadership, citizenship and zest for life! 

Crossroads scholars are aspiring, resilient and productive students who will graduate and matriculate to higher education with a love of learning, a commitment to service, and a strong sense of self and moral character so that they will be successful in college and in life.
