Crossroads Scholars
- Are highly motivated adolescents from economically distressed Pittsburgh communities
- Our families have significant financial need
- Desire to achieve their fullest potential by attending Catholic high schools of their choice
- Are mostly African American, from a variety of religious traditions
- Are generally raised by single parents, grandparents, or guardians
- Are at risk for academic failure and dropping out of high school
- Are provided intensive and holistic wrap around support services by
Crossroads to ameliorate these risks and ensure academic and personal success
for the scholar
