About Us
Founded in 1988, Crossroads Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Crossroads works to make vulnerable urban adolescents with multiple risk factors in their lives into successful young scholars who are ready for college. Crossroads provides holistic scholarships that consist of tuition assistance and intensive academic and psychosocial support services.
The keys to Crossroads’ success are twofold:
- The ability to place vulnerable adolescent scholars in disciplined and structured Catholic high schools with high academic standards
- The commitment of three full-time counselors who staff ourprograms and provide direct services to our scholars and their families
Crossroads sets the expectation among its scholars for on-time graduation from high school and matriculation to higher education, goals which will set them well on the way to productive and successful lives.
