Sirish was born in Hastings, England and moved to the Pittsburgh area (Murrysville) in 1996. He attended Franklin Regional and was accepted into Virginia
Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia to study Biology.
For several years after graduation, Sirish was an IT consultant in change
management where he helped clients prepare for and adapt to organization-wide
changes in software. While he made great friendships in the corporate world, he wanted to work more directly with people and impact their lives.
Sirish started as a AmeriCorps KEYS intern to explore counseling, mentoring, teaching, and tutoring. He plans on pursuing a Masters degree in Social Work at
the University of Pittsburgh to eventually work as a clinical
social worker providing therapy to at-risk populations.
