Parent Resources

Crossroads scholar and parent.

WE NEED YOU!

Family engagement and support are a crucial component of Crossroads’ mission and extremely important factors in each scholar’s long-term growth and success.

As such, we strive to provide a comprehensive network of family support services, centered on open communication, ongoing learning opportunities, parent leadership, and advocacy, as well as resources to meet families' direct needs.

Parent Leadership & Advisory Council (PLAC)

This council serves as an incredible advocate for all of our families and has helped establish stronger connections across the Crossroads community, ensuring that our organization continues to remain student-centered.

Family Emergency Fund

The Crossroads Family Emergency Fund is an emergency financial assistance program implemented by the PLAC for Crossroad families and sustained through donations and fundraising activities.

How Do I Apply?

CrossTalk

Our family-based discussion is centered on topics specific to community values, adolescent development, supporting parenting skills, access to appropriate resources for their scholars and more.

These sessions are designed to engage the scholar and her or his family in thoughtful discussion about the program and its academic and career relevance. This is another avenue for families to give their feedback on organizational operations and further strengthen parental involvement.
